She wasn’t in the room, nor was she part of that conversation.

All because her father spoke kindly not just to her face, but about her when she wasn’t around.
Now, let’s flip the script…
“She’s too loud.”
“She’s just like her mother, stubborn.”
“She’ll bring shame if we don’t keep an eye on her.”
Those harsh words can crush a future before the world even gets a chance to nurture it.
Why Your Words Matter to Your Daughter:

She internalizes what she hears repeatedly. Speak kindly, and she’ll grow up knowing she’s valued and capable.
🌺• Words build her confidence!
When you highlight her strengths, she’s less likely to seek validation from harmful sources, like toxic relationships or social media.
🌺• Words teach her what love should sound like
If “love” is always wrapped in sarcasm, yelling, or insults, she might confuse abuse for affection later on.

Proverbs 18:21 reminds us, “The tongue has the power of life and death.” Your words can either nurture her dreams or stifle them.

How you speak to her now will often reflect how she’ll communicate with her own children down the line.

speak a blessing over your girl-child whether she’s 0 or 25.
